Carlson supports financially and donates goods and time where possible to a number of NGOs, non-profits and organisations and individuals in need. Previously disadvantaged organisations and suppliers are used wherever possible.

Environmental Sustainability
Carlson is passionate about and committed to environmental sustainability and supports climate change initiatives. Both professional and personal investment is governed by the triple bottom line – social, environmental and economic benefit – and reducing our carbon footprint.
Carlson makes every attempt to tread lightly, minimise environmental impact by living and working according to green, earth-friendly practices. This is critical to who we are and how we work.
- All office and electronic goods are disposed of by EWASA or similarly credible organisations
- All paper, plastic, tin and glass is recycled weekly by Abundance Recycling
- Paper is saved through double-sided printing and reuse; and only recycled paper is used
- Books, magazines and publications are redistributed
- All cleaning products are biodegradable and environmentally friendly
- Blinds and windows replace the need for air conditioning
- Travel is limited co-travel encouraged
- Telephone and web communication is promoted in preference to travel
- Documentation and invoices are sent and received via email instead of using surface mail
- Procurement of goods is done through credible suppliers with eco friendly practices and products
- Locally manufactured goods and localised suppliers are preferred
